Amazing Formulas® Red Yeast Rice (RYR) is made from yeast (Monascus purpureus) grown or rice. It is a dietary staple in some Asian countries as it is commonly used in cooking to enhance the color/flavor of food. Red Yeast Rice may be used with diet and exercise to support healthy weight management and cardiovascular health.
As a dietary supplement, adults take two (2) capsules one or twice daily with food. Do not exceed four (4) capsules in a 24-hour period. It is recommended that you also take a Coenzyme Q10 supplement when using this product or as directed by your health care professional.
Gelatin (capsule), rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.
No: Preservatives, artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, sugar, milk, lactose, gluten, wheat, fish or sodium.
Do not use if you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breast-feeding because using this product may cause birth defects. If you are taking any medications or have any medical condition, consult your doctor before use. Avoid this product if you have liver disease. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur including muscle pain or weakness, rash or gastrointestinal discomfort. Not intended for use by persons under the age of 18.
