Moroccan Teapots
Moroccan teapots are considered symbols of the Moroccan way of life, and can be found in very ornate silver or handcrafted designs. The technique of pouring tea is almost as crucial to the success of hosts as the quality of the tea they use. Moroccan tea pots have long, curved pouring spouts and this allow the tea to be poured into even the tiniest of glasses from a height of three feet or more.
Gunpowder Green & Mint
Traditionally, Gunpowder green tea from China is blended with Peppermint leaves to provide a crisp, cooling brew that can be enjoyed either warm or iced. In Morocco, it is served sweetened.
Brewing
Use two teaspoons of leaf for twelve ounces of water at 180°F. Fresh mint leaves can also be added to taste. Let brew for five minutes. Serve with sugar cubes.
