Essiac is one herbal supplement with a truly inspiring story. In the 1930's, legendary Canadian nurse Rene Caisse introduced an herbal blend based on an ancient Ojibwe formula. She and the formula quickly became famous. In the 1960's, Caisse worked with Dr. Charles Brush at his laboratories in Cambridge, MA, to enhance the original four-herb blend with four more powerful herbs. Today, these formulas are still among the most popularly recognized and requested herbal supplements around the world. As a dietary supplement, for maintenance take one softgel two times per day, morning and evening, on an empty stomach. For aggressive dosage, take two softgels two times per day.
