Hot oatmeal directions:
Stovetop directions: Bring ½ cup of water to a boil. Empty packet into boiling water. Reduce heat, cook stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
Microwave directions: Do not cook in, or cover with, plastic. Empty packet into a deep glass or ceramic bowl. Add about 4 cup of water and stir. Cook on high for about 2 minutes, and on medium for an additional 2 minutes. Carefully remove bowl from microwave (caution, bowl may be hot). Stir and let it stand for 1-2 minutes.
