Absorbency Capacity
The absorbency ratings are standard among all manufacturers so you can compare the absorbency of Rael tampons to other brands. The risk of getting Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) increases with the higher absorbency. You can reduce the risk of TSS by using the minimum absorbency that meets your needs.
Regular: Light to Medium (6-9 g)
Super: Medium to Heavy (9-12 g)
Certified organically grown cotton (absorbent material, cover, withdrawal cord), cotton (sewing thread), water repellent wax (string, sewing thread), cardboard applicator, paper wrapper.
Attention: Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Select the lowest absorbency necessary and use for 8 hours maximum in order to reduce the risk of TSS. Please read and save the enclosed information.
